Biography

Dr. Su Kim, born in Seoul, began her musical journey at seven and studied at prestigious institutions, including Korea National University of Arts, Eastman School of Music, and the University of North Texas, earning her Doctorate in Piano Performance. She received multiple scholarships, served as a teaching assistant, and taught as an adjunct professor at Tarleton State University. Throughout her studies, she trained under renowned professors and participated in masterclasses with world-famous pianists.


Dr. Kim has achieved significant recognition, winning major competitions such as the Berlin-Seoul International Competition, American Protégé International Piano Competition, and Franz Liszt Competition. She has performed globally, including a U.S. debut with the Meadows Symphony Orchestra, and was featured in festivals like the Euro-Music Festival and Chautauqua Music Festival. Her accomplishments highlight her status as an accomplished performer and educator.
